About

Productive and hardy

Growing notes

It has pretty sunny spot, maybe 60% sun and has done well, but has grown pretty slowly. Gets what I believe is a rust disease, that seems to afflict saskatoon berry in our area. Seems to be able to shake it off and produce a decent amount of edible fruit, actually seems to do much better than other Saskatoon berries around us, some lose all their berries.

Maybe the currant maggot? Somebody is poking holes in these guys. With this plus rust issues the saskatoon berry has a hard time in our area.

Great flavor, has that nice nutty taste most saskatoon berries have.
