Your Profile

Access your profile settings from the Profile link in your dashboard sidebar.

Full Name — Your real name, used for account identification. This field is required.

Display Name — Your public-facing name shown on your grower page and entity listings. This is required and must be unique. Your full name is never shown publicly.

Bio — Tell the community about yourself, your growing interests, and your experience. This appears on your public grower page.

Location — Your general location (city, region, or climate zone). This helps other growers find people in similar growing conditions.

Every user has a public grower page that displays their profile information alongside all their registered entities.

Your grower page is linked from every entity you own. When someone views one of your entities, they can click through to see your full collection and profile.

Founding member badge — the first 100 accounts to register on Ohtli automatically receive a founding member badge on their grower page, recognizing their role in helping launch the platform. The badge is permanent.

Keep your profile up to date to help the community connect with you. A good bio and accurate location make it easier for other growers to find and collaborate with you.

You can upload photos and videos for any entity you own from the entity's edit page in your dashboard. The same picker accepts both — JPEG / PNG / WebP for photos, MP4 for videos (up to 20 minutes and 2 GB).

Photos help the community evaluate organisms visually — show the plant at different stages, close-ups of fruit or flowers, any notable characteristics. Videos are good for things a still can't capture: pollinator visits, scratch-and-sniff impressions of a fragrant flower, the snap of a ripe pod.

You can set one photo as the primary image. The primary photo appears as the main image on the entity's public page and in browse listings. Videos render with a play overlay in the gallery; click to play in a lightbox.

Promote from your journal. Anything you've attached to a journal entry on this entity that isn't already on the entity gallery shows up under Add from your journal in the entity edit form. Tap to select, then promote — no re-upload, the same media is just attached to the entity page too. This keeps the journal as your working log while letting you curate which entries also represent the entity publicly.

Every signed-in grower has a unique invite link that credits you when someone joins Ohtli through it. The link is in the Share Ohtli section of the footer on every page.

Click the link icon to copy your invite link to your clipboard. Share it however you like — DMs, social media, email, in a YouTube description.

When someone clicks your link and signs up within 30 days, their account is tagged with your name as the inviter. The count of growers you've invited shows on your own grower page (only you can see it).

There are no rewards tied to invites today. The feature is here so you can share Ohtli with people in your life and so we have data to build referral perks on later.
